Day 2

Spent the morning in Leiston and the afternoon in Woodbridge, partly on the doorstep and also in the office going through the survey. A lot of interesting responses and some somewhat more pointed!
I am trying to get across to Ipswich for the evening to help Ben Gummer.

Southwold / Wrentham area tomorrow with the battle bus.

Why do we need to import a lady from Hampshire to represent us in Suffolk?????

Have we no local talent? I find your appointment an insult to locals. Are we expected to all be thick pig farmers? As you say we have BT R and D here...

Keep up the blog, we might find an answer!

Thanks for getting in touch Gordon. I haven't found anyone else insulted and I have only found excellent, highly intelligent pig farmers!
As was reported in the EADT at the time, I was selected on the first ballot from a choice of someone from Woodbridge, from Ipswich, from Diss (just over the border) and 3 others.
I am living in the constituency (I don't think any other candidate is living here) and becoming a part of the community.
